We are introducing a new role of ‘community connectors’. These can be volunteers or people working in trusted roles with members of the public to help connect people to groups and assets. Their main role will be to communicate with individual citizens, asking what is important to them, what they need and considering how best it can be provided. The project is being supported through the CVS and has a community connector development worker, Jo Hallam, working for a year to develop a network of connectors across our communities.
