Wellbeing Erewash, a new partnership aiming to improve health and wellbeing in local communities, is supporting Derbyshire’s Time Swap scheme. Throughout June the Time Swap team will be out across the county encouraging local communities to help each other by sharing time and talents.

As a Time Swap member you can earn 'time' by doing things in your community that you enjoy or are good at to help other people. You can then spend that time on getting help from other people with something that you find difficult or someone in your community could teach you a new skill.

To find out more you can go along to one of the Time Swap drop in sessions. In the Erewash area the team will be at the Asda Long Eaton Superstore on Midland Road from 10am until 2pm on Thursday 9 June 2016. You can also call 01629 533190 to ask for further information.

Your talents may be gardening, basic DIY, sewing, knitting, help with paperwork, ironing, dog walking, reading, cooking or computer skills. Volunteering really can make a difference to your own health and wellbeing and with Time Swap you can enjoy being a member and making a difference in your community.
